What is Andy?
Andy is a personal assistant you talk to, built to be a partner for everyday life. He helps with reminders, groceries, money, fitness, your home and the people you care about. You don’t need to know anything about technology to use him.
Is Andy always listening?
No. You always see when Andy is listening, because the orb on screen shows it. When he’s waiting, he listens at most for his name.
Can Andy spend my money or place orders?
Never. When a payment or order is needed, Andy opens the right app with everything filled in, and you make the final tap yourself.
Can Andy read my text messages?
No. If you connect your email, Andy can read it to find bills, receipts and appointments. He can’t read your texts. If something only comes by text, you can ask the sender to email it instead.
Where does Andy keep what he learns about me?
The personal things you ask Andy to remember are stored encrypted on your phone, and you can see or remove any of them at any time.
Does Andy see inside my home?
Andy never asks to see inside your home. If you choose to send a photo, like your fridge or a receipt, he’ll help with it.
What is Andy Home?
An optional app for a computer that stays on at home. It finds the devices on your Wi-Fi, like TVs and lights, so Andy can control them. It has one job, takes commands only from your linked phone, and you can remove it any time. Read the security promise.
Can my family use Andy too?
Household sharing is coming: shared lists, and devices that belong to each person. Each person keeps their own Andy and their own personality settings.
Is the calorie count or budget advice exact?
They are helpful estimates, not medical or financial advice. Talk to a professional for anything important.
How much does Andy cost?
Pricing is coming soon. You’ll be able to set a daily spending limit for Andy’s thinking and see exactly where it goes.

- Only your phone can give it commands.Every command is signed by your linked phone. Anything else is ignored.
- No back doors. Not even us.Andy’s servers only pass messages along. They can’t send commands to your home.
- You link it yourself.Your phone shows six numbers and you type them on your computer, so nobody can link in your place.
- Easy to remove.Remove Andy Home from the computer or from your phone, and the link is erased.
- You stay in control.Andy asks for one tap before controlling a device, unless you turn on hands-free.
